Haven't pulled the trigger YET on one of these, so I can't write a full review of this particular glove at this time. However, I can vouch for the first-rate quality of an older Vinci glove that I purchased several years ago. It's a BR-44 and it's no longer available. I bought the glove as a gift but ended up keeping it for myself. I also have a much older Rawlings heart of the hide glove that's broken in perfectly that I'll never part with. Over the years, I've played/owned a few of the 'high end' name brand gloves with some being better than others. I can say with complete confidence and honesty, Vinci gloves are second to NONE. My older BR-44 (made with 6.5 oz Kip leather, size 13", H web) has been lightly played and well cared for. I would NOT be replacing it with the Optimus but for my oldest son begging me for it so he could play with HIS son who happens to be my FIRST grandchild. These Vinci gloves are NO JOKE. Customer service has been outstanding when I've called for some help deciding what to buy. You see, I'm a '2 fingers in the pinky' guy and finding the 'right' glove can be difficult. Pete Vinci has bent over backwards to provide the best advice and information possible. I absolutely believe if you're a serious player wanting a top-of-the-line serious ball glove of impeccable quality...look no further. Buy Vinci and you won't be sorry. If you're thinking your buddies will question your buying decision, have them take a close look at your new Vinci and they'll STFU.

Advantages: Vinci quality.

Disadvantages: You'll want to buy more Vinci's.
