Vinci would like to congratulate Andy Barkett and Joe Depastino on their respective new jobs as managers within the Detroit Tigers organization. Andy Barkett will be the manager for the Lakeland Tigers a single A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers in Lakeland, Fl... This promotion coming after a successful season in 2007 at the helm of the New York Penn league champion Oneonta Tigers. Joe Depastino will be the manager for the Grand Rapids Whitecaps a single A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers in Grand Rapids, MI... Andy and Joe are considered family within the Vinci family for all their support through the years. The Detroit Tigers have themselves two of the classiest people working in their organization. Look for both managers to break in to the big leagues within a few short years. Every player who has the fortune of playing for them will greatly improve their skill as a player and person. Vinci wishes both Andy and Joe the best of luck on their new jobs.
