**Vinci Kip Leather Series** Baseball Glove Model PJV16 - 13 Inch Outfielders Glove with Six Finger Web
- Steve Markley -
I recently had a chance to use and compare two of my fav gloves. The PJV16 CP Kip leather to the PJV55 CP2 glove.
Both are well made and hand crafted gloves I would use at any time and position in softball. They both appear to be 13" + and are trap style (6th finger). The two I tested are black w/black lacing. The PJV16 is also available in all red or burgundy and black. Both glove are well made w/ no obvious flaws or defects. I have had the PJV55 CP2 long enough for brake in an consider it to be game ready . The PJV16 is my step sons and is not quite as far along in the break in process, Standing in the dugout I put them side by side (along with a new PJV1972 not broken on) they looked very much a like. The only noticeable difference being a finger pad for the PJV16. I warmed up with my PJV55. Then took out the PJV16. Besides the softness of the 16 the big deal came when fielding. The ball just seemed to feel better and the first couple of fly balls I caught convinced me that I wanted to keep the Kip glove. That being said the CP2 glove is a great glove at a great price. I would say to test drive them and decide which one is for, I did! Next time RV70 : 14" CP Softball vs BV1945 14" CP2 Fielders Glove .Steve.
