Vinci Announces Winners of Special Edition Baseball Gloves to Commemorate the 70th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor

Congratulations to Lewis Kellum who will receive commemorative glove model AB74 and also to Patricia Guidice who will receive commemorative glove model JSJS

"My grandfather would have been very proud of this model glove," says Peter J Vinci, grandson of Benjamin Vinci. "Pearl Harbor had a major impact on his life."

The Pearl Harbor commemorative gloves are in tribute to Benjamin Vinci, who was stationed at Pearl Harbor during the attack that led to America’s entry into World War II.

The Pearl Harbor JSJS and AB74 models are red, white and blue with the Pearl Harbor date American flag embroidered on them. Each Pearl Harbor Commemorative glove, like all Vinci gloves, has Benjamin Vinci’s signature engraved on the inside of the pinkie.

One of each glove model will also be displayed in the Pearl Harbor Museum in Hawaii

“Rather than selling this model glove I thought it a fitting tribute to my father’s memory,” says Pete Vinci, owner of Vinci and son of Benjamin Vinci. “This baseball glove is dedicated to all the men and women who were affected by the events of December 7,1941.”

We would like to thank everyone who entered the raffle. The Vinci family is proud to give these gloves to Lewis and Patricia and hope they hold a special place with them as they do with us.
