Vinci BV:100 15″ Exclusive CP2 Series Softball Glove

Vinci’s CPII line of gloves are constructed from the finest 5.0 oz. thick US steer hide leathers, with heavy duty thumb and pinky loops for better support and assistance with holding the gloves shape. The thinner leather which is slightly treated from the factory allows for faster break in time and is slightly lighter then the CP line. They also have a heavy stays in finger supports in the pinky and thumb of the gloves which is thicker then our competitors allowing our glove to retain its shape long after most. We also have some supports in each finger stall, that help the wool finger padding to retain shape. The lacing is 100 tensile strength lacing and is laced through the fingers on all models which is unique to our glove lines. This again assists with the glove retaining shape for years to come. They also are designed with the Vinci exclusive deep design pocket, for the deepest pockets on the market. Each glove also comes shipped with our Vinci glove conditioner, which when applied utilizing our break-in process creates a sticky film that reduces ball spin in the pocket.

PJV1972 CP2 Fielders Glove 13.25

PJV1972 CP2 Fielder's Glove 13.25"

Vinci is proud to introduce a brand new addition to our CP2 line, the PJV1972 model. This glove is good for both baseball and softball players. The 5.0 oz professional quality leather is slightly treated to speed up the break in process. Some of you familiar with the Vinci line will find this glove very much resembles a popular model we made in the past, the PJV55. As we are always striving to improve our gloves. We added extra stays in the thumb and pinkie to make the glove hold its form longer. We also beefed up the laces and improved upon the fur lining in the wrist strap, making it even more comfortable on your hand. It has an extra thick palm pad to cushion the impact of the ball. You’re bound to like the trapeze web on a glove in 13.25 inches. The nice deep pocket makes this glove great for playing any softball position. This glove is quickly becoming a popular seller.

The Meaning Behind The Vinci Glove Names

Saturday, February 28th, 2009

Did you know that every Vinci model baseball and softball glove is named after either a member of the family or a very close friend? Some are named after current members of the family and many are of family that have passed on and there’s a story to just about every one of them. It’s hard to pick the most interesting story, because they all are. Our President, Pete, personally picks each model number himself. Each glove also contains the actual signature of Pete’s father Benjamin Vinci. This is a tribute to Pete’s dad and the type of special person Benjamin was.

Of course Pete’s other hero and teacher in life was his mother Rose. Both Ben and Rose have passed on but still live on in the Vinci family and influence us every day. So appropriately the first model we start off with is the BRV45. This model stands for the union of Benjamin and Rose Vinci, hence BRV. Another interesting  baseball glove model is the BV1941, also named after Benjamin Vinci with  1941 representing the year Ben was shot and wounded at Pearl Harbor. You can read more about Benjamin Vinci by visiting www.pearlharborhero.com.
