July 15,2011- Cut From a Different Cloth

Vinci Bones batting Gloves

What else can we say about Vinci Baseball products, except that they’re all winners. From the pro-quality fielders mitt they sent us, to the sleek and cool-looking sunglasses, and now their top-notch batting gloves, you won’t go wrong when you gear up with Vinci.

The first thing you’ll notice about Bones Batting Gloves is their unique and, I dare say, intimidating look. But beyond their aesthetic appeal what you’ll like most is that they are lightweight, as well as very durable and extremely comfortable.

All Vinci products are made by craftsman who care…it is a family business that spans generations. Sure, you can buy the mass-produced stuff from the super-store that every other player has or you can be unique – a cut above – and let Vinci take your game to a higher level.

Joakim Soria Wears Vinci Baseball Glove for MLB

Monday, July 11th, 2011

Joakim SoriaVinci, makers of high quality baseball gloves and equipment, welcomes Joakim Soria as the latest MLB player to wear a Vinci baseball glove.

Joakim Soria, the top Mexican closer in MLB history, is the closer for the Kansas City Royals. He has worn a Vinci glove since 2010 with the Kansas City Royals. For the Royals he is wearing a Vinci Model JC3300 baseball glove. This glove is dedicated to his daughter, Angela.

“Vinci makes a great glove,” said Soria. “I bring all I can to each game, and I expect a lot from my equipment. My Vinci glove always serves me well.”

Soria made his Major League debut on April 4, 2007. In May of 2010, Soria got his 100th save against the Texas Rangers. He was picked for the 2010 All-Star Game, the second of his career. He finished the season with a 1.78 ERA and 43 saves in 46 opportunities. In 2011, Soria has accumulated 14 saves as of July 5th.

“We are thrilled to have Joakim wear a Vinci glove,” said Pete Vinci, owner of Vinci. “We have followed him throughout his career and consider him a personal friend of the family.”

Soria joins several other top athletes in both the American and National League who wear the Vinci brand.

Vinci Multi Lens Sunglasses-Review

Monday, April 25th, 2011

We at Vinci are proud of the excellent product review we received on our Vinci Multi Lens Sunglasses from Sport Product Review

The first thing my son said when he opened the case housing a pair of white Vinci baseball sunglasses was, “These are tight.” And he hadn’t even tried them on.

That was his way of saying that the glasses Vinci (www.vincipro.com) had sent us to try were cool. Whether you’d describe them as “cool”, “tight” or “super-duper,” there is so much going for these shades you’re sure to have the same reaction he did.

They come with three different types of impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses (smoked, blue-coated “mirrored,” and orange), which are easy to interchange. It’s like getting three different pairs of glasses for the price of one. You will always have the right lenses for the sun. The rubber ear tips make them extremely comfortable, while the rubber nose pads are adjustable and help them from bouncing as you move. They boast a total wrap-around profile to give better field of vision along with 100% UVA and UVB protection. They’re foldable and lightweight and, for a limited time, come with a free black holding case to protect them in an equipment bag.

So now, my son who never used to wear sunglasses while he played won’t take the field without them. Oh, and when he did put them on the first time…they fit perfectly. Not too tight at all.

Congratulations Brayan Villarreal

Monday, April 4th, 2011

We at team Vinci would like to congratulate Brayan Villarreal for making the Detroit Tigers in the 2011 baseball season.

Vinci Launches Line of Womens Fast Pitch Softball Gloves

Monday, March 14th, 2011

Vinci, makers of high quality baseball gloves and equipment, announces a new line of women’s fast pitch softball gloves.

This line of women’s fast pitch gloves features a new double reinforced mesh backing and a velcro wrist strap. The wrist strap adjusts better to different sizes and shapes. In addition, each softball glove has extra padding to ease impact when catching.

“The fast pitch line was created due to high demand from customers and future customers,” said Pete Vinci, “Women’s fast pitch is now the fastest growing segment of amateur baseball.”

The new softball glove models are:

AB74-VM

JCV-VM

RCV-VM

TC21-VM

Individually handcrafted by master craftsman with years of experience and training, these gloves feature the signature Vinci exclusive deep pocket design which allows for better ball control and less spin. The fast pitch gloves include heavy-duty thumb and pinky loops that help retain the glove shape.

“The same leather we use for the pros, we use for these gloves,” said Vinci. “These are pro level gloves. But the mesh back is a little lighter and they break in easier for the players.”

The popularity of women’s fast pitch softball has grown steadily in recent years. Women’s Fast pitch softball exists in organized leagues and in traveling tournament teams. The competition can go as high as college or even Olympic levels. Increased media coverage has contributed to this growth.

Vinci BV1150-M Baseball Glove Review

Monday, February 21st, 2011

We at Vinci are proud of the Baseball Glove review we received from Sport Product Review

Unsung Hero

BV1150-M Reviewed By Sports Product Review

BV1150-M Reviewed by Sports Product Review

There’s nothing we like more than when we unearth a company that’s mostly off the beaten path, but which puts out quality gear that rivals or surpasses the “big boys.” Over the past four years of Sports Product Review’s existence, we’ve found manufactures in nearly every major sport, mostly family-owned, who pride themselves in creating the best product, providing the best customer service, and offering the greatest value, without passing along the cost of a multi-million dollar advertising budget to you.

So, ready for another one? Check out Vinci, www.vincipro.com. Vinci specializes in top-of-the line baseball gloves, batting gloves, sunglasses and other equipment that matches the same quality professionals use. Vinci’s gloves are hand-crafted by a master craftsman who uses only the finest “Kip” leather. Not sure what Kip Leather is? Kip leather is 20% lighter and tighter grained than conventional steer hide. This makes gloves are more pliable, easier to break in, and stronger. The signature Vinci exclusive deep pocket design allows for better control and less spin. And among many more features too numerous to mention, each glove comes shipped with their special glove conditioner, which dramatically decreases break-in time and protects the glove for years of use.

They sent us a glove to use, and it may be the most comfortable we’ve worn. It is solid yet supple; lightweight but sturdy – clearly made to last and perform at the highest level. Even the unique design of the web is ingenious. It catches the ball like a pillow, but instantly rebounds, allowing the fielder to get the ball out of the glove quicker than with other mitts.

And if you want a family business that will give you personal attention, it doesn’t get any better than Vinci. Every model number and signature is dedicated to Benjamin Vinci, World War II hero and father of Pete Vinci, the company’s founder and owner.

Because Vinci knows we all have a little hero in us. You get to prove it in the field. But wearing one of their gloves gives you a head start over the other guys.
